1) What is a Domain name ?
A domain name is a personalised name which acts as a locator for your website (eg www.MyFarm.co.uk) and/or e-mail address (eg sales@MyFarm.co.uk). Domains are exclusively owned by the registrant (individual who purchases the domain).
2) How frequently should I renew my domain ?
Domains are typically renewed annually. If you do not renew your domain it can be purchased by any third party.
3) Can I purchase a domain for e-mail or website use only ?
Yes, however the costs are different. For e-mail only - £19.95+vat pa. A website requires both hosting (£19.95+vat pa/10mb) and registration (£19.9+vat pa). ie £39.9+vat pa for a site up to 10mb.
